The financial strain of a cancer diagnosis can present a tremendous challenge for families and caregivers. Families can apply for financial assistance for uncovered medical, mortgage/rent, utility and funeral expenses through the oncology clinic Social Workers who work with the Foundation to ensure that requests are valid and appropriate. The Foundation also sponsors a sperm banking program at the local oncology clinic at Lehigh Valley Hospital. The Foundation pays for banking and storage fees for patients, which are substantial and not covered by most insurance.
