GOLF OUTING RAISES MORE THAN $2,000 FOR LFGEASTON, PA (Sept. 30, 2010) - Nearly 100 golfers helped raise more than $2,000 during the Ed Adamko Fall Golf Tournament held on Friday, Sept. 24 at the Club at Morgan Hill. All proceeds from the event benefit Lauren´s First and Goal Foundation that supports pediatric brain tumor research and patient services. “Ed does such a fantastic job coordinating all the details of the event and bringing together a wonderful group of generous people to enjoy a day of camaraderie, while also raising funds for pediatric cancer,” said Lauren´s First and Goal founder Marianne Loose, who started the foundation in honor of her 13-year-old daughter Lauren. “We sincerely appreciate all the time, effort and enthusiasm Ed devotes to the event, and the participation of so many people in the community supporting Lauren´s First and Goal,” she added. Lauren´s First and Goal has been Adamko´s charity of choice since 2008 and he has raised $5,230 for the foundation. “With three children of my own, I can´t image the time and stress this disease can have on any family, and feel this is the least I could do to help raise awareness and help people I know,” said Adamko. “I´m already looking forward and planning next year´s outing.” |
