LAUREN’S FIRST AND GOAL IDENTIFIED AS CHARITY OF THE MONTH BY ONE MEANING

One Meaning, couture with a conscience, will donate 8.13 percent of all December sales to Lauren’s First and Goal

EASTON, PA (Nov. 24, 2009) – Just in time for the holiday shopping season, Lauren’s First and Goal Foundation is excited to announce it has been chosen as the Charity of the Month for December by One Meaning, a Manhattan-based jewelry and apparel boutique. Throughout the month, 8.13 percent of all sales will be donated to Lauren’s First and Goal, a charitable organization benefiting children living with pediatric cancer.

“One Meaning Couture has given us a wonderful holiday gift by selecting us as their December charity,” said Marianne Loose, who launched the foundation in honor of her 12-year-old daughter Lauren. “This is a great opportunity for people to purchase a unique gift for their friends or family, while also knowing that they are helping to support pediatric cancer research and services.”

Located in midtown Manhattan, One Meaning is co-owned by Ingrid Hobbs and Karen Chesleigh who have each been affected personally and by loved ones with cancer. The boutique features jewelry and apparel with unique designs that have the numbers 831 on them. 831 is code for the phrase “I love you” which has eight letters, three words, one meaning. Karen and Ingrid re-arranged the numbers 831 into the shape of a butterfly, so that love can take flight.

This month love has landed on Lauren’s First and Goal! All of their products can be purchased online at One Meaning Couture. Come see what it all means.
