Junior Troop 730 - Service Unit 45/Centereach, New York
The talented, thoughtful, Youth and Family Service Coordinator/Social Worker, troop leader and supermom Mrs. Lara McNally invited Patrice as a guest reader of Hope Is Here To Stay for her Girl Scout troop. The young ladies participated in the “why write a book” presentation and had the opportunity to view the actual Splashes of Hope illustrations. They graciously supported Lauren´s First and Goal by purchasing copies of the book as well.

East Islip Health and Fitness - September Yoga for Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month
Lauren's Aunt Patrice, "Ampr" offered weekly yoga classes to club members during the month of September in honor of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. Participants enjoyed the positive benefits of yoga, with the added bonus of knowing that their donation would be helping children living with pediatric cancer. That is some good Karma -Namaste people!

Easton Area High School - Almost Anything Goes
Members of the Easton Area HS faculty and student body participated in the annual AAG competition, vying for the coveted golden inner tube and bragging rights while raising funds to support LFG. Go Rovers!!

Cherokee Street Elementary School
Led by the fabulous leaders of the Student Council, Cherokee Street Elementary School hosted a Hats On for Lauren’s First and Goal Day on May 5. The Student Council was excited to host the event after reading Hope Is Here to Stay, making book purchases and participating in the Why Write a Book presentation at their monthly meeting. Students, teachers and staff were allowed to wear a hat of their choice all day in exchange for making at least a $1 donation to the charity. Hats off to this amazing school community for raising nearly $1,000 to support the mission of the foundation!

Central Dauphin Middle School
Special thanks to the thoughtful members of the Central Dauphin Middle School for donating proceeds from the school's dress down day to LFG. Central Dauphin has been a strong supporter of the LFG Football Camp in PA, attending the camp each year as a team. Gooo Rams!!

Connetquot Foundation for the Advancement of Children
CFAC supported Lauren's First and Goal by hosting Patrice as a guest author at their third annual Literacy Luau. More than 1,000 children, parents and educators came out to celebrate literacy in the community and in turn, supported LFG by purchasing copies of Hope is Here to Stay and Manual of Football Drill and Skills.

C-Quest 5th Graders of the Connetquot Central School District
The program supported Lauren´s First and Goal by hosting Patrice for an author´s visit and purchasing copies of Hope Is Here To Stay. After learning about why the book was written and discussing the role technology played in bringing the LFG publications to print, students had the opportunity to examine the LFG website. The students were exceptionally receptive to and inspired by Lauren’s story and many immediately began planning to take action in their own ways to help those in need.

Elizabethtown College Women's Field Hockey
Led by team senior Captain Andrea Keady, members of the field hockey team at Elizabethtown selected LFG as their charity of choice for their annual charity game on October 10. The Blue Jays defeated Susquehana 4-1! Great job girls!!

Franklin & Marshall Football Parents and Friends Group
This enthusiastic and hard working crew manned the concession stand at the 2014 PA football camp, helping to raise almost $6,000 for LFG. Go Diplomats!!

Idle Hour Elementary School - Miss Healy’s First Grade Class
The school supported Lauren´s First and Goal by hosting Patrice as a guest reader of Hope Is Here To Stay. The students participated in the “why write a book” presentation and had the opportunity to view the actual Splashes of Hope illustrations in person.

Muhlenberg College Football Lift a Thon
For the second year, members of the Muhlenberg College Football Team held a lift a thon in May to benefit LFG. Special thanks to senior Tom DiCarlo and Coach Mike Donnelly for organizing team members and supporting LFG again this year. To date, the Mules have raised almost $7,000 for the foundation.

Tracy Elementary School Staff Club
Members of the Staff Club at Tracy Elementary, Lauren and Grace's former elementary school, participated in Friday Dress Down Day throughout the school year donating the funds raised to LFG. Go Tracy Tigers!

Wilson Family ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Duel
Amy and Curt Wilson have been long time volunteers and generous supporters of LFG, as well as other deserving causes. As part of their contribution to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Curt and Amy added in a friendly family contest to see who could drum up the most 'likes' for their ice bucket video on Facebook, donating $2 for each 'like' to LFG.
